Our Philosophy
We’re not just in the aviation business—we’re in the business of helping people succeed in aviation.
That means offering more than service. It means offering solutions.
More than transactions. True relationships.
And more than promises. A proven track record.
Our Services
Flightline Group (FGI) pursues unparalleled customer satisfaction across a spectrum of aviation services:
Turboprop is Our Specialty — But Not All We Do
At Flightline Group (FGI), our reputation is built on deep expertise in the turboprop space—and for good reason. For decades, single-engine turboprops have been our specialty. It’s where we’ve earned our name and built long-term relationships with owner-pilots across the Southeast. Whether it’s a Piper M700, a Kodiak 100, or another workhorse of the skies, we know turboprops inside and out because we’ve flown them, sold them, maintained them, and guided clients through every stage of ownership. But while turboprops may be our bread and butter, they’re not the whole story.
Flightline Group (FGI)’s experience extends far beyond a single aircraft category. Our team’s aviation DNA includes everything from hight-performance pistons to light jet aircraft, and we regularly support clients transitioning into or out of different segments of the market. We don’t just push what’s in inventory—we listen to your mission, your needs, and your long-term goals and then guide you toward the aircraft that best fits you.

History
Our Journey Through the Years
With over four decades of experience, Flightline Group (FGI) continues to lead with integrity, innovation, and a deep understanding of the aviation journey—because we’ve flown it ourselves.
Laying the Foundation
- 1982 – Founded by Paul “Mac” and Carmen Langston in Tallahassee, FL to provide and promote professional aviation services.
- 1982–1984 – Our first operation was launching Life-Flight, the Tallahassee area’s first hospital-based aeromedical program. It became the 48th air ambulance operation in the US. By 1984, it became the seventh busiest program in the country, providing helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft service across North America and the Caribbean.
- 1983 – We began an air taxi charter service to over 14,000 cities throughout North America and the Caribbean. The clientele was varied and interesting; including such notables as President George H.W. Bush, Chuck Yeager, Bob Hope, The Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett, Gov. Bob Martinez, Sen. Bob Graham, Robert Urich, Governor Dukakis, Senator Kemp, Governor Chiles, Ed Bradley, and Hulk Hogan.
- Mid-1980s to early-1990s – FGI (formerly known as Flightline) partnered with the City of Tallahassee and Tallahassee Regional Airport to develop a full-service aviation support center. During this time, we divested from helicopter aeromedical contracts to focus fully on privatization and the development of a fixed base operation.
Becoming Flightline
- 1994 – We opened the General Aviation Terminal in Tallahassee, offering 24/7 world-class aviation services.
- 1997 – We expanded to Gainesville, FL, providing aircraft fueling and line services at Gainesville Regional Airport, which we continued until 2003.
- 1999 – Named exclusive Piper Aircraft dealer for multiple southeastern states, which now include Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
Expanding Capabilities
- 2002 – Our Flightline Development Corporation finalized plans to develop and manage the Compass Pointe complex, featuring 32,000 sq ft of buildings, 22 acres of ramp and development space, and facilities for aviation businesses like HondaJet Southeast. That same year, we began managing the expanded T hangar area, adding 47 new hangars, a pilots’ lounge, and an aircraft wash rack.
- 2004 – Opened Piper Parts Plus (P3) in Memphis, TN, now the largest Piper parts distributorship in the world, to support Piper Aircraft and the Piper community.
- 2006 – We launched fueling services at Okaloosa Regional Airport and built a full-service fuel farm. Operations transferred to Million Air in 2009 following the sale of our Tallahassee FBO.
- 2006 – Honda Aircraft Company appointed us as the HondaJet Southeast dealership, serving eight southeastern states.
- 2009 – Opened our 26,000 sq. ft. Regional Service Center at Tallahassee Regional Airport and shifted focus fully to sales and technical services
Continued Innovation
- 2012 – We completed our 15,000 square foot Compass Pointe Aircraft Hangar and were appointed as the Southeast authorized dealer for Mahindra Aerospace Airvan.
- 2013 – Flightline Technical Services became a Certified Part 145 Repair Station. This certification enhances our services to include avionics testing, repair and installation capability.
- 2019 – We were appointed Authorized Dealer and Service Center for Kodiak Aircraft serving Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.
- Today – Our rich history is the foundation for how we operate today as Flightline Group (FGI) Aircraft Sales for Kodiak, Piper, and Preowned Turboprop, Flightline Group (FGI) Technical Services, FGI Avionics, and Flightline Group (FGI) Development Corporation—with locations in Tallahassee (TLH) and Vero Beach (VRB).
